| Artist Statement |
| Pastels give me immediate gratification and provide the spontaneity and freedom I need as a release from the meticulous graphic design I create using computers. The landscapes on this site are mostly scenes from the beautiful Brandywine Valley, just west of Philadelphia. The still lifes are all inspired by objects owned by family—some heirlooms, some roadside finds—and most subjects were painted at Patricia’s studio in Belford, NJ. |
